Lookout Signal Flare Helps You Find Your Lost Phone, Even If The Battery is Almost Dead

iOS: A few weeks ago, security tool Lookout unveiled Signal Flare for Android, a new feature that sends your phone?s location to its servers just before the battery dies. Now that feature is available to iPhone users as well.

Signal Flare is designed to help you find your phone even if the battery is dead by at least giving you a lead to its last known location before the battery completely died. The feature works automatically and in the background, so you don?t have to do anything?and if your phone is lost or stolen, as long as the battery is on and draining, Signal Flare will take care of itself. Signal Flare is part of Lookout, which protects your phone from mobile security threats as well as helps you get it back when it?s stolen, and Lookout is free in the iTunes App Store.
